OpenGL GRAPHICS for the UTE Control

The UTE bender control now includes an Advanced Tubular Technologies option to display 3-D current tube shape as programmed into the bender. Once the option is installed, it is available from the main UTE bender page and draws fully-rendered and shaded tube shapes using OpenGL technology.

System Features

TRACKBALL SPINNING
Spin the tube shape using a track-ball type control

AUTOMATIC SPIN
Allow the tube to continue to spin even after you've let go of the track-ball.

AUTOMATICALLY COMBINES AVOIDANCE MOVES
The program automatically combines avoidance moves to display the actual tube shape.

PAN
Pan the tube left, right, up, and down.

ZOOM
Zoom in and out and zoom to the current view extents

SELECT-A-BEND
Visually highlight any bend on the screen to find a bend

VIEW BEND INFO
Display the current bend's numerical data

TRANSFORM TO A TRUE BEND
Make any bend true by selecting it, then pressing the MAKE TRUE button. The rest of the tube automatically follows.

USER SETUP
Control the display colors, zoom distances, pan distances. The program remembers the setup from the previous session.

This software was custom-designed for the U.T.E. Windows bender control. It is sold as an add-on product by U.T.E. Please contact U.T.E. for further information if you are interested in adding this software to your U.T.E. bender control.
