Translate TO FIF Tab Page

Use this tab page to select files for conversion to the FIF file format.

Read the following material to learn how to use this tab page. You can click on any screen image to see an enlarged view of that image.

    Buttons

The three main buttons on this tab page are:

      1. ADD Files Button

This button loads the Open File dialog that lets you add individual or multiple files.

Any files selected will be added to the file list for conversion to FIF files.

      2. REMOVE Files Button

This button allows you to select then delete files from the file list. Files must first be selected before any of them are removed from the list.

Using this button does NOT delete the files from the disk. It only removes them from the files list for conversion to FIF files.

You can also use the Del key on your keyboard to delete any selected file.

      3. TRANSLATE Files Button

This button loads the Translate To FIF window. Use this button when you are finished selecting all files for translation.

    Other User-Interface Elements

      1. The "Files To Translate" Indicator

The Files to Translate count lets you know how many files are currently selected for translation in the file list.

      2. The "Show Full Path" Check Box

Either check or uncheck this box to control the file path detail displayed in the file list. If unchecked, the FIF Translator will only show the file names without the path.

    The File List

The file list displays all files to translate to the FIF file standard.

It allows you to add hundreds or thousands of files to the list for conversion all at one time.

      File List Pop-up Menu

In addition to using the main buttons on this tab page, the file list also displays a pop-up menu when you select the file list with a right mouse click.

This is how the pop-up menu appears over the file list:
